Parent Teacher Conferences

Online Registration Available

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up soon. The dates and times for conferences are as follows:

Thursday, November 16th 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. (noon dismissal)

Monday, November 20th 2:30 to 7:00 p.m. (1:50/2:05 dismissal)

All Parent/Teacher Conferences are in-person conferences. Unless the teacher requests your child to attend the conference we strongly encourage parents to come by themselves.  If parents must bring their children, only school age children are allowed to attend.  Toddlers and infants should be left with relatives or friends.  

All parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to take this opportunity to visit with your child’s teacher.  Report cards will be given out at this conference.  Our district uses an online scheduling system, which is called PTCFast.  Please follow the instructions below:

This link will take you to PTCFast.com, where you will see a list of every teacher in the district.

  1.  Please select your child’s homeroom teacher.  If you have multiple children, you will be able to select each child’s homeroom teacher.
  2. In addition to your child’s homeroom teacher, you may also select your child’s art, music, band, chorus, physical education teacher, reading specialist, speech pathologist, social worker, and/or special education teacher to schedule a conference with them.  Parkside parents can also choose the academic subject area teachers instead of just the homeroom teacher.  Special education co-teachers will meet with the regular education teacher and will not have a separate conference with parents.  
  3. Once you have selected your child’s teacher, hit submit and you will be prompted to enter the student name, your name, and you must provide an email address. When you hit submit, the website will send you an email with a link to choose a time.
  4. Click on the link in the email to schedule your times.  If you have multiple children in the district, you will be able to see all of the teachers on the same page and this will allow you to schedule your conferences in a timely manner so you can go from teacher to teacher.  
  5. PTCFast.com will then send you a confirmation email along with occasional reminder emails as your conference approaches.

The entire signup process should take approximately five (5) minutes. The signup works on a first come first serve basis.  The quicker you access the site, the better your chances are of getting the time you want. The deadline for online sign up will be one day prior to each conference date.  

If you are unable to access the online signup process, please contact your child’s teacher and they will be able to schedule a conference time for you.
