About Me
I was born and raised in Peru, Illinois. I went to school at Northview School (kindergarten through third), Roosevelt (fourth through fifth) Peru Washington Jr. High (sixth through eighth), and LaSalle-Peru Township High School. After high school, I went on to study at Northern Illinois University (NIU), where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Master's Degree in Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier University.
My Professional Experience...
Right out of college, I taught seventh grade math at Northbook School in Mendota, Illinois for eight years. After staying home to be with my family for a few years, I came back to teach part-time as an Intervention teacher here at Washington School. I was excited to have the opportunity to come back to Washington this year to teach fourth grade.
