How to care for borrowed books

*Always keep library books clean and dry. (No eating, drinking, or bathing with books, please.)

*Designate one special place in your home to keep the library or baggie books.  That way, they won’t get mixed up with other books and cause stress when it’s time to return them.

*If a library book page is accidentally torn or damaged, please write a little note and slip it into the book’s pocket.  That will let Mrs. Spelich know that she needs to make repairs.

*Read and enjoy the books many times while they are in your home.

*Our library day will always be on Wednesdays. Children who return their books will be allowed to check out new ones on the next library day.

*Since baggie books are an important part of our daily reading program, they must be returned each day.

Thank you for helping your child learn to respect and care for books.

                                        Happy Reading!
