Jump on in for a 'Monster'ous Preschool Experience!!!!!

WELCOME!

Meet the Magic Monster:

Hello! My name is Mrs. Ferrari, and I am your child's new Pre-K teacher along with Mrs. Ellerbrock. I am a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in Child Development, as well as a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I used to teach Preschool at Head Start in Granville, IL, as well as Lincoln Elementary in Ottawa, IL. This is my third year teaching preschool for the Bright Futures Preschool! Presently I am working on a degree in Administration, through the University of Saint Francis. With my education, and experience I feel I have an excellent background that has prepared me for working with children.

I am very excited to be working with Mrs. Ellerbrock, and teaching your children this year. I have set my room up with an adorable monster's theme, with several colorful activities to keep your children engaged. Play is so important in the early years. I hope to maintain a positive environment, where your children can play and learn social skills that will carry them throughout their lives.

You are your children's best teachers! Feel free to come and visit us anytime. For the first couple of weeks I ask that you let your children get settled in and learn the routines before you come. After that, my door is always open. I especially enjoy, and the children do as well, parents coming in to read to the group! If you need to contact me for anything feel free to e-mail me at lferrari@perued.net or call the school before 8:00AM or after 2:15PM. If you leave me a message I will do everything I can to respond to you as soon as possible. I am looking forward to an excellent year!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Lindsay Ferrari
