Historic Funding Reform Passes

Legislature Approves SB1947

Today the Illinois State Senate passed historic, bipartisan school funding reform, after the Illinois House of Representatives did so yesterday. While no bill is perfect, Senate Bill 1947 addresses many years of inadequate and inequitable funding from the state of Illinois.
