Intervention Block

Northview teachers and staff are striving to provide the most effective literacy instruction possible for all of our students. This year, we are implementing a daily “intervention block” from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. in kindergarten, and from 12:45 to 1:15 in first grade. During this time, students from all classes will be grouped with children who share similar skills. Each teacher will teach to the specific needs of the students in her group. After intervention block, the children will return to their own classrooms for their regular instruction. Please be sure that your child is always on time, so that he or she is here for the entire intervention block!
