Spelling Bee, Geography Bee and Chemistry Challenge Winners Announced

Congratulations to 7th grader Emily S. for taking 1st place in the Parkside School Spelling Bee! Emily won on the word "coyote".

 

Along with 2nd place finisher Thomas B. and 3rd place finisher Abby S., Emily advances to the LaSalle County Spelling Bee at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, at Ottawa Township High School. The next three finishers were Tre M., Tristan B. and Carter M. A photo of the six finalists is show on the right, as well as on the Parkside homepage. Congratulations to all 40 Parkside participants, and best wishes to Emily, Thomas and Abby in the LaSalle County Spelling Bee!

 

Also congratulations to our Geography Bee winners! Anna C. finished 1st, followed by Tre M. in 2nd and Brooklyn G. in 3rd. Anna, Tre and Brooklyn's picture is posted here.
