| Welcome to Developmental Preschool! |
|
The Developmental Preschool classroom is a structured environment where the children know what is expected of them each day. Each child will work on his and/or her individualized goals and these goals will be modified, as needed, as the year continues. Children in Developmental Preschool may receive services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and social skills training. We have a very tight group of professionals who work very well together to meet the needs of each child. We all believe that each child can learn and we can't do it without your help! Our morning class meets from 8:30-11:00 and our afternoon class meets from 11:45-2:15.
A little bit about Mrs. Pangrcic (Miss Michelle)... I have been teaching Developmental Preschool here in Peru, for 14 years. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Northern Illinois University and my Master's Degree from Illinois State University. I am married and I have one daughter! Also, I have an identical twin so if you see me and I don't say "hi"...it could be her!
A little bit about our classroom aide Mrs. Sharon Guerrero...Miss Sharon taught at HeadStart for 15 years and did some supervision before coming to Peru. She has been with our district for the past 3 years and we are very lucky to have her in our classroom! Mrs. Guerrero also rides the morning bus with the children.
Extra Supplies/Snacks needed for our classroom:
At times we may need extra supplies or snacks for our classroom such as empty egg cartons. Please keep checking back to see what we need and if you are able to help!
