The purpose of the intramural program is to provide some extra-curricular activities throughout the school year. The program focuses on skills development, developing a team attitude, and hopefully develop an attitude of life long fitness by finding some physical activity they enjoy!
The program is offered after school at Northview, running form 3:20 to 5:00p.m. It is the parents responsibility to provide transportation.
The following dates are tentative and may need to be changed based on enrollment, future scheduling conflicts, etc..

Participants will learn the basic rules of the game and emphasis will be placed on developing fundamental skill like volleying and serving along with team work. The coaches will be Mrs. Balestri and Ms. Funke.

Participants will use 11"-16" mushballs to develop fundamental skills of baseball and softball with no gloves required. Emphasis will be placed on skills like throwing, catching, fielding, and hitting. Weather permitting, this will be outside. Rain or shine, mushball will be offered with different rules for indoor and outdoor play. The coaches will be Mr. Janssen and Mr. Berg. |
