It is that time of year again when severe weather can necessitate the closing of school. The safety and welfare of our students will always be the first concern in making this decision, with the biggest factor the ability of the busses to transport students safely. Any decision to close school will be announced as early as possible, usually no later than 6:30 a.m. the day of the closing. Please avoid calling the school offices and instead tune in to one of the following stations and to find out if school is closed: WLPO 1220 AM, WKOT 96.5 FM, WAJK 99.3 FM, WALS 102.1 FM, WGLC 100.1 FM, WIVQ 103.3 FM, WBZG 100.9 FM, WSTQ 97.7 FM, WYYS 106.1 FM, WZOE 1490 AM, WZOE 98.1 FM, WRVY 100.5 FM, WCMY 1430 AM, WRKX 95.3 FM, QUAD TV 8, WHOI TV 19, WEEK TV 25, and WMBD TV 31.
